New Casino for the Hungarian capital

The project for the construction of a new large scale Casino in downtown Budapest, the capital of Hungary, would be almost reality according to reports from the local press which circulated these last days. This announcement brings back the controversy for the construction of a Eurovegas in the western part of this European country.

According to the Hungarian press, the ministry of Finances could have already chosen a winner for the biding to the construction of the Casino in Budapest, to which they will provide exclusive operation rights.

The winner of this bidding would be Ɓlomsziget Entertainment (Dream Island Entertainment), an investment group composed by the Israeli shopping malls constructor Plaza Centers and the great shareholder of the Danubis hotel chain, MKB Bank.


According to plans, once the construction is completed, the Dream Island project will be one of the largest Resort & Casino complexes in the European continent, with capacity for 3,000 rooms, a big marina, an opera house, a museum specialized in Roman history as well as a big casino which will have the most popular games preferred by the fans of gambling.
